What Makes the Hi-Capa / 2011 Different from the 1911?

The name says it: "2011" = double-stack ("2") + 1911 design. STI International developed the 2011 in 1993, widening the 1911's single-stack grip to accept a double-stack magazine — more rounds with the same proven operating system. The Hi-Capa inherits the 1911's all-metal construction and manual of arms, but with higher capacity and a wider aftermarket upgrade path.

What Is TM Spec and Why Does It Matter for Upgrades?

Tokyo Marui created the Hi-Capa 5.1 — the design that became the global standard. The entire aftermarket (Airsoft Masterpiece, Cowcow, Nine Ball) builds to TM dimensions. CyberTrigger's AW 2011, 2011 TTI and E&C Hi-Capa are all genuine TM spec — every aftermarket part fits directly.

Some Hi-Capas on the Australian market are Para Ordnance spec — they look identical externally but use different internal geometry. Aftermarket TM-spec parts won't fit. If upgrade potential matters, verify TM spec before purchasing.

Which Hi-Capa models does CyberTrigger stock?

Three models: AW 2011 (AW Custom), 2011 TTI (Taran Tactical Innovations aesthetic) and E&C Hi-Capa (CyberTrigger's flagship, full TM spec). All are gas blowback with full metal construction.

Does a longer barrel or slide mean more range?

No. Barrel length alone doesn't determine range — muzzle velocity and hop-up quality do. For more range, a hop-up barrel upgrade at our Cyber Custom workshop is the most effective improvement.

Are Hi-Capa gel blasters legal in QLD?
